Environment
Immersed in the heart of the forest of Chiloé, our facilities are located a few meters from the National Park. From here you can access to the Pacific Ocean and the wide beach of Cucao of 23 km lenght, with a beautiful stretch of coastal dunes; mandatory route for the trail north of the park.
When you get into the native forest, abound Arrayanes, Lumas, Coigües, Tepual and Canelos and in its highest areas are located millenaries cypress and larch heritage for mankind.
Among the mammals that traverse the park, it is possible to observe the sea lion, coipos, otters, chilote fox, the monkey mountain and the pudu, the world's smallest deer.
The lagoon Huelde is of easy navigation and links us to the river Cipresal where there is plenty of fish in addition to a wide variety of birds such as Chucaos, Garza Blanca, Rayaditos, Chercán, Martín Pescador, Patagonia Carpenter, Yeco, Parrot Choroy and swallow, among many others.
